Ecosystem coherence
$BURN is a mainnet token. The BurnToken Strategy proxy lives on mainnet. The TTT flywheel that drives $BURN deflation already runs on mainnet. BurnBomb's 5% rake flows directly into the live $BURN contract via plain ETH transfer.
Deploying anywhere else would mean bridge risk on the rake, fragmented community, and a second protocol surface to defend. Mainnet is the only choice that keeps the ecosystem coherent.
Same chain as $BURN. Same chain as TTT. Same chain as every token in the flywheel.
Gas as a structural moat
Ethereum gas is a flat per-tx cost regardless of slot value. At ~20 gwei moderate conditions, a claim costs roughly ~$4.14 in gas (0.002Ξ). This produces a gas-regressive tax curve that naturally penalizes the exact attack vector we worried about.

The cheap-slot carpet-bomb is the only profitable whale strategy in our Monte Carlo. It is also the strategy most punished by gas.
We didn't design this. Ethereum's gas market did. We just lean into it.
Mempool visibility
Every claim is a public transaction. A whale carpet-bombing across multiple sybil wallets generates a coordinated mempool footprint that's trivially detectable. The UI surfaces this in the heatmap · claimer addresses and slot counts in real time.
Rational honest sees the attack developing and abstains, breaking the attack economics. This visibility is a mainnet property. L2 sequencers often hide the mempool. Custom rollups don't always have public mempools at all.
Mainnet's public mempool is itself a defense.
Skin in the game
Cheap chains breed cheap players. We're on mainnet because we want real bets from real wallets. Every claim is a vote that says: I'm here, I paid, I'm in. That's what builds real jackpots.
